Haven’t been on tumblr at all today (or much this week), but I’m sure everyone’s got their own MJ post.  I heard he died tonight at dinner, and honestly didn’t believe it.  Remember when, in high school, Sean would randomly tell everyone that some celebrity had died?  One day it was Keith Richards and he really had us going, until we looked it up and found it wasn’t true.  I sort of felt like Sean was behind MJ, too, but alas.  ABC’s such a classic, but I think it’s still my favorite.

Oh Ringo.  Seriously, though, I’ve never been a fan of “Octopus’s Garden,” but especially not since dating this guy who pointed out how flat Ringo is when he sings “gar-den.”  Maybe if said guy hadn’t done such an incredible impersonation of the horrible flatness, it wouldn’t bother me as much, but now every time I hear the song those two syllables seem totally amplified in their off-key-ness.  Eep.
